1. What you are buying
A custom cart and checkout page, designed for your store, installed on a domain you control, and maintained for as long as your plan is active. You are buying a licence to use copyrighted material owned, designed and developed by Iluxxian LLC. You do not acquire ownership of the underlying code or design system.
Your plan includes a Cart performance dashboard. To provide it, the cart page we install reports two counts to us — how many times it was shown, and how many times a shopper went on to start checkout — which we hold as daily totals for your domain on a rolling 90-day window. No visitor identifier, cart contents or order values are collected. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
2. Price and what is charged
Plans are priced per domain, per month:
- Starter — $52.18/month by card, or $50.77/month by bank debit.
- Growth — $104.05/month by card, or $101.53/month by bank debit.
The bank debit price is lower because bank transfers cost us less to process. The price shown on the checkout page at the moment you subscribe is the price that applies.
The subscription is the only thing ever charged. There is no lump sum at checkout. We take no percentage of your sales and add no per-transaction markup. Your own payment processor charges you its own fees exactly as it would if we were not involved.
3. The build fee
Building your cart page carries a one-time cost of $999. It is never charged at checkout. It is recouped out of your monthly payments over time: every paid invoice counts toward it.
While the build fee has not been fully recouped, the cart page installed on your store displays a ConvertingCartPages credit and a link to convertingcartpages.com. That visibility is part of what the unpaid build buys. Once the build fee is paid off, the credit and link are removed.
Stopping your plan does not create a debt. There is no balance to settle, no interest and no collection. See section 5.
4. Design, approval and installation
We produce your cart page design and show it to you. If you approve it, we install it. Until installation happens, you have paid for a design you have not received and you are entitled to a full refund — see section 6.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the Stripe billing portal, linked on the checkout page and in every receipt. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. There is no proration and no refund of the current month.
When a plan ends while the build fee is still outstanding, your cart page pauses — your store falls back to its original cart, which continues to work. Resubscribing with the same email address unpauses it and your recoup progress resumes where it stopped. It is not reset.
Cancelling creates no debt. If you stop paying, you simply stop having the page.
6. Refunds
Full refund, any time before installation. “Installation” means any form of data transfer from convertingcartpages.com servers, staff or personnel to somewhere accessible to you or to third parties.
After installation, the monthly payment covers the period it was charged for and is not refundable, but you can cancel at any time and will not be charged again. If something has gone wrong, contact us before disputing a charge — we would rather fix it.
7. Your responsibilities
- You must control the domains you submit, and have the right to install software on them.
- You are responsible for your own payment processor accounts, your own merchant terms and your own legal compliance in the jurisdictions you sell into.
- You must not resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the cart page or its code.
- You must not use the service for anything unlawful.
8. Our responsibilities and limits
We will build, install and maintain your cart page with reasonable skill and care. We do not guarantee any particular conversion rate, revenue figure or business outcome. Any industry statistics we publish are averages across many stores and are not a forecast for yours.
The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost sales.
The installed cart page is designed to fail safely: if our licence endpoint cannot be reached, your store’s original cart continues to operate.
9. Suspension
We may pause or end service for non-payment, for a breach of these terms, or where continuing would be unlawful. Where it is within our control we will tell you first.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially we will update the date at the top of this page and contact existing customers. The terms you accepted at checkout — recorded with their version, the time, and the exact wording shown to you — are the terms that govern your subscription until you accept new ones.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and the courts of Pinellas County, Florida have jurisdiction.
